Did you know music can help increase your workout? Studies show that working out while listening to music will increase your chances of having a better workout. I know for sure that I can never go to the gym without my iPod. Working out isn’t the same when it’s quiet. Listening to music is like you’re in your own zone and that no one else is there to disturb you.  Scientists did a study about how music is better for working out. They set up two different groups of people on working out, one set of people had music blasted in their ears and the other set is working out in silence. Both groups ran/exercised for 6 minutes on the machines and the scientists studied their heart rates and how much force they are putting into the workout. The set that was listening to music tested that their heart rates were 130 per minute and they were putting more force into their workout than the quiet ones.

So next time when you go to the gym, you should consider to bring your iPod with you or download new sets of songs to pump you up. Because at the end, you will be having amazing results. Working out is already very hard, don’t make it harder by making it boring! HAVE FUNNN WITH IT!!!!
