Artist Statement

My art is meant to reflect life. My art takes you into a journey where the unexpected should be the expectation. Expecting the unexpected symbolizes the way one walks through life, where we do not expect the surprises and hits that comes with it. Yet, my art is not to make one remorse over their fails in life or be reminded by any bad surprises they might have experienced during their lifetime. It is meant to show people to stop, realize the good in the bad, and laugh. Just Laugh! Life goes on, and it is ok to laugh at anything bad that could have ever happened, why? You might ask why. Well, at the end of the day, there’s another begginning to a new day. Make that day yours, fight to make it yours. We need to learn to appreciate the life lessons we are continuously taught throughout our lifetime because we learn from it, and in turn we learn to live life.

I walk on a path where i overcame obstacles, and I continue to walk, yet, I do not know where it is that I’m headed, I do not know where I am walking to. Where will I stand in 5 years? I do not know. On the other hand, I do know, where I do not want to be. With the obstacles I’ve jumped over i’ve realized that there is always a good after the bad, light after complete suffocating darkness. Learn to stop. Learn to realize what life is trying to teach you, and keep pushing to over achieve. Keep pushing so that life does not drag you down to a place you do not want to be, all because you did not stop to realize the teachings of life. Once you overachieve you’ll know it, you’ll laugh, and you will feel amazing.
