I choose this image as my representation post because I believe it depicts how some people use their large platforms in order to create a positive change in the world. For the most part, people with big platforms try to use social media to promote themselves and profit from it. But in this case, this YouTuber is doing the opposite. This image is from a video about promoting cleaning the oceans and taking good care of the environment.

Greetings everyone, my name is Yair, if you have trouble pronouncing my name you can just call me “air” at this point I’m used to people mispronouncing my name so it’s fine. My ethnicity is Mexican American, my parents were born in Mexico but I was born and raised here, in the United States. I can speak both languages but I’m more fluent in English than in Spanish. I love to swim and love talking about the sport, I’ve been swimming for a decent amount of time and hope to be able to join the Baruch swim team and compete. I also enjoy playing baseball and football but I want to start trying different sports, one of those sports is hockey. I’ve never played hockey before but I would like to get into the sport and start practicing how to ice skate. I also enjoy playing video games, if anyone wants to play some apex legends or dead by daylight don’t think twice to let me know because I need some friends to play with and carry me to victory. I also need some music suggestions, I need new songs to listen to. I’m open to any genre I’m just tired of listening to the same songs over and over again. My pronouns are he/him. As for the image, I included an image of a NY slice of pizza because I love eating pizza, it’s my favorite food to eat. I love most foods and I enjoy trying different dishes from different cultures. But as I said earlier, I do love to eat pizza. However, if you like pineapple on pizza I’m not sure if we can be friends. I just don’t understand how people can eat pineapple on pizza. But finally to wrap things up, I would love to one day go toItaly and eat some authentic pizza.
