Hi Friends,

Just a reminder that your Analytical Research Papers are due today by midnight. Don’t forget the following:

• Give your paper a title.
• Place it in your ENG2100 Google Docs Folder with your other essays.
• Proofread your essay before you submit it. You don’t want to turn something in that is full of typos!
• Your Works Cited page should be formatted according to MLA Guidelines and it should be the last page of your essay.
• Be sure that any time that you include words or ideas that you found in one of your sources, you identify the source with a parenthetical citation. This is not just true for quotations. It’s true for anything that you include in your paper that came from your research.
• Make sure that your research question is included in your introductory paragraph.
• Anticipate the reader who asks, “so what?” and provide an answer. Why is your research important? What do we learn from it?

Tomorrow morning, I will post a link to your End of Semester Reflection and Grade Proposal. Read the instructions carefully, and make sure to complete it by the due date (Monday, 12/19)
