I would simply like to know what you will take away from this class. What about this class resonated most with you? Did you learn something that helped to open your mind to new possibilities? Did you learn something technical in regard to writing? Did you experience something that you did not like and, therefore, would not like to pursue further? (Learning what you do not like is as important as learning what you do like.) You reflection can be as long as you please.

Learning in this class had definitely helped me a lot with grammar and writing essays. It also helped me get to know my classmates as I find our morning class discussion really effective. Moreover, I enjoyed the grammar practices and games that we did before the end of class as it was both fun and effective to learn. Last but not least, how we specifically went through the essay prompts and outlines really helped me write better and more organized.
Going to college was not an easy task for me. It was not easy for me to study in this class, and it was a little stressful. However, it was exciting. Everything was new to me: essay writing, speaking, listening to speech, and the entire assessment system, as well as online learning. But, despite all the innovations, I am very pleased that I got into your class, professor. It was very informative and organized. I would like to talk more and participate in class, but the language barrier stopped me a little. Despite this, I made some progress in spoken English and began to understand grammar better.
This class was one of my favorite classes this semester. I think this class was a great introduction to what college writing is like. In-depth grammar lessons were something I didn’t expect to learn in a college classroom, but it was one of the most important things I learned in this class. Activities like leading the class discussion and grammar gambling made this class very engaging compared to my other classes, and it helped me make some of my first college friends. Overall, this class was very well organized and I found all of the content thought to be very useful. Thanks for a great semester Professor Corva!
Writing isn’t my strength, especially writing a long and structured paper. Sometimes, I have difficulty coming up with words to fill in the paper. But whatever I like it or not, it is a process that I have to go through as a student. Even though I will not be writing a lot in the future, writing is inevitable no matter which career path I choose. The essay assignments challenge me a lot honstly. I appreciate all the challenges. It is how I make up my weakness and learn something that I didn’t know before.
I really liked this class. It is very well organized and it helped me with my writing. I could now find my mistakes easier than before. I really liked how there were activities to help us learn about grammar. These activities also allowed us as classmates to get to know each other.
I think that the best thing about this class is how every essay is explained step by step. I am a person who is afraid of big tasks and taking step by step really helped me to write. Also, I like discussions at the beginning of the class. I think this part really helped our class to feel more comfortable speaking up and talk with each other because many people have anxiety speaking over zoom.
I liked this class. Though writing was never my favourite subject, this class was one of my favorite classes. I enjoyed the grammar games and helpful feedback from the professor. I’ve met so many different people and learned so many new writing skills to help me in the future.
