I really enjoyed your class last semester. ENG is possibly my favorite classes. Not only were the blogs interesting but the discussions and ideas my classmates had were so different than mine which made the assignments and discussions more enjoyable. I have no doubt that this semester will be just as enjoyable especially because the theme is music.

I feel confident in my ability to decipher meaning of lyrics or why artist chose a certain sound but I’m excited to see what my other classmates think about it. The main obstacle I can for-see is running out of words but I have a plan to overcome that. Since everyone has a different perspectives their opinions and initial thoughts should be intriguing. Im also curious on the type of music everyone enjoys, and i’ve been wanting to add new songs to my playlist. On  top of that I’m curious as to who has the same type of music taste as me.

My plan is to start essays ahead of time and to do blog post during any free time I have. Last semester I didn’t have a problem keeping up with blog post but when it came to reaching word counts for essays that was the tricky part. To counter that, I believe my best choice would to be starting earlier as well as visiting the writing center earlier. Additionally with more time I can experiment with different topics to write about instead of sticking to one that I have trouble writing. The meetings with Professor Gordon also contributed a great amount to the quality of my writing.

I don’t really have any other responsibilities like a job but I do like to play video games so I’ll just focus on doing the longer assignments first before I play.
