Both The New Yorker articles illustrate the point of really how things are done behind the scenes, essentially the way they produce music and work for the world to get in tune with is as similar with how a business company works sort of like this. You have the head or the CEO or the face of the company which in this case is Taylor Swift and all the other musical artists that were mentioned then you now have everyone else in the studio with her producers, engineering, friends and family who play the support role, the errands person or the assistant, the manager etc. Point is there’s more to it then just simply coming out on stage and just performing the song. There’s a process that goes within writing the music and finding the right beat that fits it perfectly. Max Martin is the shadow man of making these pop stars shine, I really shocked to now that most of their music is coming directly for him. He understand how the business works and took full advantage of it in a positive way that helps him and the pop star he’s collaborating with to put of the next big hit. In listening to Taylor swifts songs that were made the commonalities of it is very very apparent the more you read the lyrics and hear through the phone or headphones, the writing process of Max Martin becomes clear on it as well almost as if he and the pop artists are one. You can hear and see the journey he’s personally taken to go great lengths to really put the lyrics together. I’m going to safely assume so of the pop artists do get the vibe and story behind these songs as they first Martin’s original version of it then boom it’s like these artists wrote these lyrics themselves even though they really didn’t either way the process of it all is just like wow it’s no joke. I would say for the future of songs being made the Max did it would have to be at a stand of point is do they know the business inside and out first? If yes, then music can be made like. If the answer is no then can be no way to achieve this level of mastery unless you do your research just as Max did.
