Introduction
Hello everyone my name is Richard Suriel, and I am from the Dominican Republic. I am a transfer student studying Aviation and majoring at Baruch in CIS: data analytics. I’m very entrepreneurial and like many trying to become professional and one day will have my own business.
My past education: I came from Aviation High School in Queens where I learned to fix and build planes for the Airlines, however I then realized I wanted to do more of the flying than just mechanic. I play the piano and trumpet and played baseball since freshman year in varsity High School all the way till my previous college at BMCC.
I love to travel as a way to relax and reset, since I discovered the power of points on credit cards I normally tend to travel 3 times a year spontaneously ( who wouldn’t want to). I’m very analytical specially in ways where I am in new territory, something that I apply naturally while traveling, I have a youtube page with like 10 subscribers and a tiktok page with over 30k followers where I can display my passion for travel but more specifically the industry of aviation. Something else I do on my off time to better productivity is going to the gym. Most of the time when it comes to college its easy to become lazy and the gym gets my blood moving a bit to be able to get to work when I have to.
Some of my favorite childhood ties that brought me to be who I am are “dexter’s laboratory” one of my favorite shows to watch when I was younger and based off what I can remember inspired my creativity.
