Tony Zheng Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Tony Zheng and I’m a sophomore at Baruch and majoring in Accounting. I’m from New York and currently living in the Upper West Side.  I have always love problem solving because I get to challenge myself and thinking outside the box. I love playing games, working out, basketball, skateboarding, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. Whenever I have time, I would always love to play basketball with friends because it helps me get my mind off things especially when I’m stressed or feeling down. As for skateboarding, I got inspired from a friend of mine. It was hard at the beginning, but many of my friends help me along the way. It took me a while to get used to it and learn some tricks I have been attempting for months.  Now, I’ve realized how fun it is just being able to skate with friends and going to the skatepark. Every time I land a new trick, it would be the best feeling ever. It taught me a lot of things like perseverance and improving my confidence.

I like listening to different type of music like rap, K-pop, and pop music. Some of my favorite artists include The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, and New Jeans. I always love listening to them because they make me feel happy. It motivates me to stay focus on what I’m doing especially when I’m studying and working out.  I also try to listen to discover new artist and get different recommendations.

I would describe myself as someone who is always trying to learn new things and improving who I am as a person. I also used to procrastinate a lot but I have been working on managing my time efficiently. It has improved a lot ever since my first year of college. Even though, I didn’t really do as good as I thought I would first semester, I promised myself I’ll do better going forward. Lastly, I love meeting new people and getting to know them. I hope to make more friends during my time at Baruch and create great memories. Hope to have a great semester with you all
