My name is Emily Go and like many others in the class, this is my first semester at Baruch as a transfer student. Although it is my second year attending CUNY, previously at Queens College. My intended major is Marketing as of now, but there might be a possibility where I might change my mind.

My name is Jeannie Lee-Daly and I actually started my college career as a Child Study (education) major. Now, I am an accounting major and history minor. I am excited to read some “great works,” most especially those by Frederick Douglass and Alexander Pope. I have read Pope’s “The Rape of the Lock” and was captivated by the language he used.

My name is Adel Chowdhury. I am a freshman and this is my second semester in Baruch. My intended major is Finance.

Hello everyone, my name is Huimin. I moved to New York a few years ago. Everything gets very hard at the beginning. First is the language because English is not the language that I used to speak. So I spent a lot of time on studying it. Second is the environment. I felt very strange when I first step into this city. I can’t even find my home at the first couple days because the construction of this city is totally different from my country. Third is people. They are from different kind of countries. I think it is a part of the reason that make this city so charming. People from different countries shares their own cultures. No matter at school or at work, I always get along with people from different countries. Especially at school, it is very interesting to talk to them and understand their culture. I was studying in LaGuardia before and this is my first semester in Baruch College.  I hope everyone can achieve their goal in studying at Baruch.

Hello everyone, My name is Christopher. I am a transfer student who graduated from QueensBorough CC in the summer. Taking a break from the winter semester of last year, this will be my first semester at Baruch. My intended major is Accounting and I am looking forward to this class.
