Connie Huang

Connie Huang graduated with a degree in Arts Administration and English Literature in 2016. During her interim at Baruch, Connie served as president of Japan Club and a prose editor for Encounter Magazine. After getting a piece published in the newly established student online intellectual journal, Refract Magazine, she joined as an editor. Unable to land any publishing internships, she found herself going abroad one summer and worked on writing and publishing a local tourist handbook for a pottery village in Taiwan. This internship was facilitated by AIESEC at Baruch. In her final semester, she worked as a Collections Intern at the Museum of Chinese in America. Currently, Connie is working in a rural town in Hiroshima, Japan, teaching English to Elementary and Junior High School students as an Assistant Language Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program.
