Chris Zumtobel has a history of successful crowdfunding campaigns on Kickstarter. From these campaigns he was able to found the wallet company BankNote NYC. This was inspired by a passion for storytelling as a tool for small businesses, a passion which led him to pursue a hybrid education in English, creative writing, and entrepreneurship at Baruch College.

He was inspired by the incredible professors he had at Baruch to believe that education should be an ongoing, lifelong endeavor. For that reason, he currently spends his time making high-level education more accessible in NYC communities through an organization he founded with David Kurfirst called Think Olio. In its first year and a half, Think Olio has held over 150 classes and the majority of them have been taught by CUNY professors.
