Favorite Childhood Toy
The childhood toy that I chose was Barbie’s Dreamhouse! I used to love playing with this house; it was always so colorful, and fun. I always aspired to have a house like this. A house filled with a bunch of expensive and unique looking furniture. A house with a huge pool, and a disco in the attic lol. It’s actually kind of ironic that I ended up in real estate, working with houses, when one of my favorite toys was a house itself. Now, allow me to present to you my Barbie’s (Bootleg) Dreamhouse.

Useless Product
For our useless product, my team and I made a lopsided cup that was completely unable to stand on its own. Through the cup, we pierced a bunch of holes and stuffed the other utensils (spoon, spatula, fork, and knife) to make it difficult to hold up. For my variation, what I did was change the structure of the traditional mug into a hole-filled, fork-shaped top kind of mug. It has the knives and spatula inside, sticking out, and underneath, it has a base made of spoons facing up. You can’t even hold the mug without getting cut because the holder is razor sharp :). Hence, useless.

About Me !
Hii!! My name is Merolyn Jimenez, and I am a 21-year-old junior. I am currently studying entrepreneurship, with a minor in economics. Outside of school, I am a licensed real estate agent; when I’m not at school or out selling houses, you can typically find me at the gym or at home, snuggled up in bed. I look forward to this course, especially because it’s so different from what most of us are used to seeing in our business classes.
