Favorite Childhood Item

I think my favorite toy as a kid was always the wood blocks. We had two different sizes, and the main one we used to call Jenga blocks (like the game), even though in hindsight they must have been some other brand. What made it so special to me, was how it could be used in so many different ways. My brother and I used to build huge towns, and the blocks would become walls, towers, trees, traps, etc. or you could just use them by themselves and create the biggest possible tower. One time, we created a huge tower right next to my bed, and after almost reaching the ceiling, we didn’t want to destroy it. So in the middle of the night it just all crashed down and woke me up.

Update to “useless” product

In class:

In class, we made a combination of all the tools that mainly are made useless by being unruly and unpleasant to use.

After class:

What makes a fork a fork? In my update, I tried to twist the shapes more to make it not just unpleasant to use but pretty much useless. The cup has a tiny pin-point opening with a huge bottom so the water can’t properly flow. All the tools are bent and misshapen, there is no flat surface to place it and all the sizes are out of proportion.

    About Me

    Hey,

I’m an international student from Switzerland who moved to NYC in 2022. My major, entrepreneurship, was selected because back home I used to work with a couple crypto start-ups and I really enjoyed the space and mindset around startups.

And when I am not busy with school, I usually hang out with my dog, a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer lady called Litschi.

    Thanks for reading,
