Course Instructor: Anderson Evans
Anderson Evans holds a MALS Degree with a Digital Humanities Concentration from the CUNY Graduate Center he received in February of 2014. He also received a Doctoral Certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy from CUNY GC. He has worked professionally in the new media industry as a contributor to Gawker Media’s now defunct “Gawker.TV”, as a Production Coordinator for the 2011 Webby Awards, and as a video editor at The Daily Beast. Anderson currently works at Baruch College’s Center for Teaching and Learning where he helps produce videos for hybrid courses and plays a coordinator role in the development of Baruch’s Video Oral Communication Assessment Tool (VOCAT). He lives in the East Village with his girlfriend, at 31 years of age he still reads Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, and he once wore a spandex bodysuit in order to play the role of a background performer in an episode of Flight of the Conchords.
