JOSEPH BEUYS!!!

I had no idea what the song was about but it was super interesting to see how a music video looked like back in the day. I a music artist myself immediately gravitated towards this video due to the fact I wanted to study the past and see how far we grew as artist and how the music video industry changed over time which is super incredible to see where we are now. I also watched another video called “Bad Girls” at first I though the video was gonna be funny or about someone in jail but I had no idea what was happening till the other character walked and I realized that the message contained int he video is about homo sexuality. It reminded me of a co worker I had at work from Urban Outfitters who would dress up like a girl and act just like one because in his heart and soul he believed he was a woman. it’s interesting to see that the psychology of a human repeats over and over for generations.Another video I watched was Gillian Wearing/2 into 1 I was very creeped out at first when I saw this video to see how the first character was sounding like the mother it caught me off guard. The expectation of that happening in today’s art is predictable and not unusual but the video quality made me believe that they wouldn’t be up to that part in technology or at least the thought of using lip syncing. Other then the art style being used the topic of the video is very creepy and to see how the kids talk so negative about their mom it felt like I was watching a psychology project being conducted in front go my own eyes. overall it’s interesting to see how the video world has an effect on society and how certain techniques and topics catch the attention of the audience.
