Lamp is a concept of detail. For my portrait, my main focus was to point out its structure and the purpose of this simple object. Using techniques such as close ups I successfully made this point come across. Following the patterns and small trails that are created by the edges of the object all throughout. I was able to focus on the many different types of shapes from this object, while my model studied the object and interacted with it at the same time. My idea of reflection was to play around with the light that was is produced by this object, as light reflected on the walls and ceiling it allowed me to record the outcome. The many different types of angles that I’ve used, combined with the many mixed tones within each frame helped me portray this sense of mystery and wonder as I’ve evoked an overall tone of darkness just by using the simplicity and purpose of this object.
