The Times recently published an editorial calling for Congress to repeal the ban on marijuana in the United States. In addition, they invited readers to write in with their opinions on the issue, promising prompt response. Overall, it was an effective piece, though it could have been backed up with more statistics and figures on legalizing marijuana, such as the potential financial benefit that the government could gain from legalization.
