Hi everyone, in this weeks tech news I will cover from rumors of new iPads coming as soon as at the end of this month to Google deciding to put your face on their ads.
So let’s get started, first up HTC announced a new Phone called HTC One Max to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note 3. For some of us Galaxy note 3 is big enough at 5.7 inches screen size but HTC tops that with introducing a 5.9 inch display in their new “One Max” model. Beside the screen size being huge, it also introduces the fingerprint scanner on the back side of the phone, following in the footsteps of Apple, it allows you to unlock the device with your fingertip. Mostly it packs the same specs as the HTC ONE. One thing I like about the HTC One Max, which can be a deciding factor for many to choose the HTC, is the Aluminum look and feel of the phone unlike the Samsung’s plastic feel.
If you haven’t heard, one news that’s everyone on the social media sites are sharing is that Google has decided to include your Google+ profile picture in their ads. It was introduced in Google’s updated Terms and Services agreement. It’s called, by Google, “Shared Endorsement” where they will put your profile image, name, and comments in the ads that people see when they search on Google. I don’t know about you but I definitely don’t want my profile picture in Google ads. If you, like me, would like to opt-out of this service then head over to Engadget.com where you will find more detailed information on how to exclude yourself from this new service.
One last thing in this week’s blog is that Apple’s new Event will be held this month, on October 22nd. My last blog included the Apple event where the new iPhones were introduced, in this new upcoming event, updated iPads will be introduced. Along with the iPads there are rumors that Apple will also introduce new Mac Pro, and new Desktop OS called “OS X Mavericks”. There are also rumors that new update of Apple TV will also be announced in the new upcoming event. If you would like more details on this event and rumors then head over to BusinessInsider.com where you will find more detailed information regarding this topic.
Well, that’s it for this week’s blog. If you would like to keep yourself updated with the latest news in Tech then don’t forget to visit this blog every week. Thank You!

Yeah… its a huge head turner that Apple is showcasing their second Event right after they dropped the iPhone. Seems really exciting to hear about! And its funny how other companies are now picking up on the finger scanning idea to unlock phones. Soon enough, it’ll be available for even our doorknobs! haha great read
Wow, did not hear about Google using your profile pics in their ads until I read your post, but I would not like this. It is easy to skim over this, especially since most people do not read the terms of service or does not catch up with recent news related to Google.
