Apple New iPads | Google’s New Nexus 5 | FAA allowing devices to stay turned on?

ipad airLike I mentioned in my last post, Apple’s new event took place on October 22nd. Where Apple announced a new lighter, and faster iPad called iPad Air. Apple also announced the next generation of iPad mini with much better retina screen and faster CPU. Personally I didn’t like the new products. There weren’t any new design changes making iPad lighter which wasn’t even the problem in the first place. I understand how iPad mini needed an upgrade with retina display to rival with competitors but iPad Air in my eyes was a big disappointment. I expected apple to launch something which would wow us, like when apple introduced it’s very first iPad or very first iPod. Now all we can do is hope that maybe next year Apple can wow us with something we have never seen or heard of before.
If you are interested in purchasing the new iPads or want to learn more about them in details then don’t forget to stop by Apple.com.

Also new this week Google Released it’s new phone Nexus 5 which sold out in hours. Google’s Nexus 5 is made by LG anNexus5Herod packs all the specs to rival with current competitors. I personally was second away from ordering one myself however I didn’t purchase the phone just yet. I’m waiting for some reviews to come up on YouTube before I buy one. Google devices are always prices really low compare to the competitors. It was the same case with this one. Nexus 5 factory unlocked 16 GB version only costs $349. I am a big fan of Google devices because they offer the consumer the best devices with great specs at such low prices. Google is also known to be first to release software updates for its devices compared to the competitors. Keep following my blog; you will be the first to know when I purchase it, if I purchase it.

Another small but great news this week is for the travelers. If you travel a lot by planes, you know how jetblue-electronic-devices-in-flightyou are asked to turn off your devices at the takeoff or landing. Well not anymore, at least for two major airlines in U.S. FAA announced that it would allow devices to be turned on during all of your flight time. Soon after Delta and JetBlue followed announcing its passengers are free to use their devices during the whole flight, soon other airlines will follow. Personally it’s great news, now we can catch up with our friends and families on our flights now, or watch our movies without needing to turn off the device.

  1. Wow I am really surprised FAA is actually allowing it, there usually very strict on these type of manners. I guess it was coming anyway since there’s WIFI on majority of the flights.
