In the last three months, I’ve learned a lot about myself and have a new view on how I should approach things since I started Baruch. To be honest, I really didn’t want to go to Baruch. Gosh I hated it. To go to a commuter school was annoying and I didn’t want to waste a semester in a place I really didn’t want to be. I was prepared to transfer out after the spring semester. But one of my friends who is away for college told me to embrace the moment and do go to Baruch with a negative thought. And that is what I did. I came with an open mind and it was amazing. I’ve made some amazing friends, joined a club and I can’t wait for next three years.
The picture that I used is basically a summary of how I would sum up my Baruch experience. I graduating high school with all of friends leaving for college and I felt sorta lost. But after the last three months I can say that I made some of the greatest friends. People that I can rely on and trust and over all can literally say if I decided to transfer, the friends I made will remain my friends for a long time. The picture of the Lizzie McGuire crew is what it summarizes. That through thick and thin the people that I’ve made friends with will be there forever. Going to Baruch has showed me a way to network and build strong relationships with people.
