Eight Pictures That Describe Me

Each picture that I have posted has a memory that is very valuable and is a result to my growing up in some sort of way.  The first two pictures are of my two closest friends. I value friendship so much because you pick the people outside of your family that you could trust with anything. These two people have been there since middle school. We gave grown up together and learned from each other. It’s hard to find people to trust these days and through all of our fights and arguments I’ve learned a lot about myself through them. The next picture is of all the cancer symbols. Cancer is a horrible disease that takes a lot of courage and a lot of support to go through. I have a friend suffering from cancer right now and it’s hard for her but she always keeps a positive outlook on life and she is my hero in a way. She never lets her cancer get in the way of how she lives and she will be the one to keep you smiling even though you don’t want to. She is truly my inspiration to keep on going and to try to make it big because she is doing the same. The picture after that is one of hard work. Every year in my high school we have a show competition raising money for the school as well as just having fun with the underclassmen. After a lot of singing, dancing and glitter this is a result of how tired we are.  From the yelling and screaming we try to have fun with it. Although we lost that year it’s something I would do again. The behind the scenes work is the best part because it’s just fun seeing what has to go in order to put on a great show. The next few pictures are of my trips aboard. I’ve visited Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany and Poland. That was an experience in itself. This trip opened my eyes to new culture and experiences that I couldn’t get in Brooklyn.  IT was amazing, even though it was zero degrees Celsius outside.  The picture with all of our feet in a circle was our huddle circle and whenever we got cold we would warm with each other. The picture with the big building and all the lights is Parliament in Budapest. I took the picture on my phone and it came out better than I though.  This trip had opened my eyes to wanting to travel and experience the world. The next picture is of the college Oxford in London. That is my dream school. I would love to go there and study and just embrace the London culture and have another country to say I visited. The last picture is a question mark. It is a result of I don’t know what the future holds but hopefully it’s looking good. I’m the type of person to try to plan what to do next year and I never know what to do right now. The question mark is just a way of saying that the future is a mystery and planning it won’t help me. I just have to embrace the moments and have fun in the moment.
