My group choose to pick the conflict with Syria as our topic. We choose this because it was a raging issue and was very publicized, we felt that war is a topic that can be seen from two different sides and both sides can be argued very well. This conflict made us think whether it would be best if the united states waged war with Syria or just stayed out of it for the better of our own country. We spoke about the two sides and how if the united states went to war it would further hurt our economy and many innocent lives that we have nothing to do with. My group felt it might be better to just stay out of it, some argued the opposite, which is why we picked this topic, for its popularity and the depth you can go to argue it.
