Enrichment Workshop Post
I found the workshop to be very interesting and very informative. It also inspired me to be more active student here at Baruch since the message, “College is what you make it,” was repetitive throughout this workshop. I haven’t had the time to be more involved at Baruch since I was still getting used to the beginning of college, but I think I will definitely become more involved starting next semester. I am going to look into joining clubs, since that is a great place to start forming close bonds with people who have similar interests with you. I also want to do “Adventure Weekend” either next year or another year, because that sounded really fun from the way they described it. I also found their message, “If you’re feeling comfortable, put yourself in an uncomfortable situation,” and “If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room,” to be very inspiring as well. Basically, from these messages and from the workshop as a whole, I learned that there is always room for progress and that the goal in life is to become the best you can be.
