My group was Style Society: A Global Revolution which covered not only fashion globally, but also fashion through the ages. I found two articles for the group. One of my articles covered the evolution of American fashion from the rigid standards of the 1950s to modern day fashion and the changes from then to now. The other article was about how fashion is art and can make a political statement, which one designer did with a political message of coexistence. He did this by combining patterns seen in synagogues, church and mosques into his clothing designs.

Both of my articles took an unconventional stance on what fashion is an what fashion can do and how it has changed through time. I felt this reflected the message of the blog, that style is dynamic and art as well as being something we see on the streets of New York City every day.
