My First Semester

This first semester has been an interesting one to say the least. Most of it was spent with me wondering exactly how I ended up in college already, and how this is changing my life. Overall, I enjoyed being able to roam around Manhattan in between classes and being able to partake in such active discussions in virtually all of my classes. My biggest challenge by far has definitely been my math class. Although some may not see it as difficult per se, I feel as though a lack of a solid math background throughout high school has caused me to feel behind now. However, I am actively trying to catch up. What I am most excited about for spring term is applying all of the efficiency and time management skills I’ve learned this semester, to allow myself to stress less and enjoy learning more. I also want to become more involved with clubs and activities to meet some new people so that I can make sure that I am having fun, as well as learning. But overall, I’m just trying not to rush things, take college day by day, and make it the best experience of my life.
