My First Semester Experience at Baruch

My first semester at Baruch had been academically and socially stimulating. After a break from school I was excited to get back to learning and Baruch provided me with a wonderful opportunity to dive right in. I was pleasantly surprised that most of my professors are not only very trained in their field but also kind and caring human beings. The level of rigor in regards to the courses is challenging but doable because of the help and support offered at Baruch from all perspectives, academic and personal. Most notable is the amazing care and support we received from our advisor Sarah Wagner both at the weekly FRO sessions and individually. I also strongly believe that having an LC for our first semester at Baruch provided us with a comfort and community that we would not have received had we been placed with all new people for each of our classes. I look forward to challenging myself in the spring semester to meet new peers. I also look forward to becoming an educated, well-versed, and productive member of Baruch and our society.
