In the Youtube Playlist that I’ve created, there are a variety of songs that reflect who I am. The majority is Pop music but I chose these songs because of the lyrics or subject of the song. I think that most of the songs’ lyrics have meaning and make me think about everything from my personal life to the future. For example, the song by Christina Perri was one that I danced to at my High School Prom and it brings me back to that event where my friends and I had so much fun. Meanwhile, the song by The Black Eyed Peas speaks about the issues in this world such as violence and discrimination and it makes me question how society really works. There are songs about love included in the playlist because I am the type to go for Chick Flicks and Dramas that portray the perfect idea of love. Then there are songs that just put me in a good mood like the one by One Direction and it reflects the more outgoing side of me because I am a fan of the group. All these songs are from my iPod and each song gives me a different memory of the past of feelings about the present and future.
