People can choose many different ways to represent themselves. For me the best way to represent myself I believe is by an image slideshow. These eight different pictures represent who I am and what I believe. For example, the picture with the trees, grassland, and mountains shows that I love nature. Ever since I was little I was always amazed by the way nature worked. Last summer, I went to upstate in a hiking trail and saw many different things and even got lost on the trail. The picture with the cat represents my favorite pet. Over the years, I had many cats back in my country and ever since I moved to the United States petting a cat seemed problematic especially since we lived in a small apartment. But I never gave up the idea of having a cat one day. Recently we moved to a bigger apartment and I believe I will be getting a cat pretty soon. The picture with the chess obviously shows that I love playing chess but it also shows that I am a critical thinker. Playing chess has taught me to think before doing something. The picture with the computer shows how it became of part of my life and how it plays a role in my everyday life. For example, my laptop has made my high school life a lot easier because I used to get my homework done faster and I believe it will continue to play a role in my life in college. With cell phone I can text my buddies instantly and keep in contract with them even if they are thousand miles away. In my free time I usually like to watch movies especially horror movies because of the suspense and the unexpected outcome. The picture with the plane does not mean I love planes it means that I love to travel to new places and seeing new things. In the future, I hope to travel the world. The picture with Naruto and his friends shows two different things. The first thing it shows is that I love the animation Naruto. Second it shows that friends are important to me. Whenever I have time I try to hang out with my friends instead of playing games at home. These pictures portray who I am and who I continue to be.

Faisal,
Since you like the outdoors a lot, I suggest that you join “Absolute Adrenal” on campus. They do outdoor activities a lot. Also, USG takes students out for “Adventure Weekend” twice a year. There is an apple picking event next friday which I included in the latest Blackboard announcement.
I was not able to view the pictures. You should check to see if they were uploaded properly or not.
Best,
Shanima
