Me!
I had to pee.
Yet I couldn’t, since everyone just kept going up and presenting. It would’ve been rude to just dash out of the room while a group was speaking. I know I wouldn’t have wanted that for my group, so I had my bladder do the job.
It felt terrible.
Anyways, I initially wanted to go either first or second, but while we were hesitant to go first, we were definitely ready to go second. Unfortunately, John’s group took the initiative and took second-to-go. What really surprised me was that he had chosen pretty much the same topic as we did. I think he said that before, but I probably forgot about it. It was an appalling presentation and better than ours, but I couldn’t help but feel disappointed, now that we were to go with the same topic, so I guess there was no choice but for us to go last, so as to give a breather between presentations. No one likes to hear reiterations of stories, yeah?
I had planned to present the articles first and save the Bearcats article last, since such a progression is favorable, as the last one was basically the best there was on the page. I compliment Edward’s quick-thinking to present it first, since I was in a bit of disarray due to the time constraint and same project issue. It was certainly a commendable effort, I must say. By doing so, we were able to present the better article, though I do not mean to say that the other articles on our page were not stellar in their own way.
Though, it seems to me that everyone improvised while presenting. It made me laugh as everyone moved along pretty nicely despite any real planning. Our group barely had any, either, so I can’t criticize anyone…
All the pages looked neat and orderly. The articles were certainly interesting enough to get your attention, and I was not disappointed by the quality of the works. From issues regarding organs to food, it seems that Baruch really hosts a number of events that many participate in, whether minor or major.
Overall, the presentation was a great experience, though I have to always remember not to drink hot chocolate before a presentation.
Seriously.
