I have to say, of all the museums I have been to, the Rubin Museum is the smallest. What I found really amazing was the design of the museum itself, so that when you look up from the beginning of the stairs, the ceiling looks like a human eye. I also liked walking through the exhibits and observing the differences of the different Buddha statues. Honestly if I didn’t get a chance to see the various kinds of Buddha statues in the exhibit I would assume that they (in general) would look similar to each other. Being able to look at how the inside of a family Buddhist temple was also very interesting to me, because I was able to have insight as to how their daily lives were. The murals were also very intriguing because it depicted interesting things such as how a child was born (even if it’s inaccurate). I had fun during this trip to the Rubin Museum, the only disappointing part was that we didn’t have time to see the rest of the exhibits.
