That’s me in every assignment. I think long and hard about everything which, as a result, takes me a long time to get stuff done. Even when it’s done, something about it isn’t right and I would have to go back and fix it. So annoying. Despite all of that, it is amazing how I still have free time to relax. I see everyone else working on something and then there is me who is doing nothing. I wonder if there something wrong. College seems easier than high school to me when I had to wake up at 5:30 every morning just to go to school. By the time I got to school it was 7:15 and the sky outside was still dark. It was like I took night class. The worst part about it is that no one shovels at that time too. Now though, I get to wake up at 8:45 almost everyday. Awesome!

Monologue

And I thought my high school was pretty big with two thousand something students. In Baruch, there are more than 3 times as many students! In high school, I was so use to security guards telling us to put away our cell phones, but now it is weird not hearing it again as I am back in school. There is so much freedom in college that it hard to adopt to all at once, not that I don’t love it. You can roam the halls without hearing screeches like, “Where do you belong right now?!” or “Go to the cafeteria or library if you have no classes!”.

MEI

I love food. That is part of the reason why I went Baruch. Here I can eat whatever type of food I like and anytime I like to, as long as I have money. I also love to hike. Every year, my family and I go to the Sebago Cabins for a week. There we would hike the mountains and swim, row boats and kayak in the lake. It is way harder to row boats than to kayak. The boats are super heavy, made out of metal, compared to kayaks, made out of plastic. Besides these summer activities, I would consider myself a pretty inactive person. If I have a choice to live in the cabins all the time, I would. Even though I’m disconnected from the rest of the world since there is no cell phone service, it is very relaxing to be not be hooked onto electronic devices. The picture of me kayaking was not taken in the lake near Sebago Cabin but in Cancun. I posted it up because the ocean was very beautiful there.
