3rd Post

In my first three months of college I’ve come to understand many things. I learned that college can be a great time to hang out with friends and meet new one’s too. But also it is a time to take your studies seriously as we try to shape our futures. The image below is very true to me as it represents 3 major aspects a college student must find a balance to succeed. Myself personal, i have realized that if i don’t a proper balance, i tend to under perform in another area (School).

New school, new friends equal new beginnings. Over the past four years in high school I made lasting memories and loyal friends. Even though my high school friends and I will stay in touch, it’s a start of a new era for us as we go in our own directions to find our way in life. Starting college seems like starting over again, where you are the new kid in school except, this time the school has fifteen thousand students. But if you take a step back you realize everyone is here in the same situation where everyone else is waiting for the person to break the ice instead of having that awkward silence. You don’t know if you can trust the people you meet and sometimes you just want to stay in your comfort zone. It’s time for us to take that step and break out of comfort zone and try something new. The friends we make and the people we come into contact with every day will be the ones have a lasting impact shaping our lives.

The pictures above help represent what my opinion of what I mean to my classmates. I try to lighten up the air with a few jokes to break the ice as it is hard to start a conversation with new people sometimes. I also like to humble myself to anyone that needs anyone to talk to about their problems or is just going through a bad day. I also think that I can help teach but at the same time learn from my classmates as we adjust to the Baruch culture. I am also a big sports fan which helps me relate and discuss a topic I am interested about with my classmates. Finally, I feel that I am a calm and laid back person that doesn’t like to make a big deal or start problems with anyone. These pictures speak to who I am because the main ideas of these pictures represent traits that are a reflection of me.
