The picture shows how absolutely clueless I am about my major in college. I think that I’m pressured to make a decision sooner than I really think because I’m going to have to take classes that are leaned towards a certain field and I’m not sure what that is yet. I hope that as I get on with college I find a path that suites me well, but for now I’m exploring all the fields and options that are out there and hopefully I will decide soon enough.

Leaving my close-nit high school and coming into one the most diverse campus in the America is a huge transition for me.
Will I make Friends?
Will people like me?
How do people of other cultures live?
Will they laugh at my way of life?
These were the types of questions running through my mind through out my first weeks of college.
Leaving a school that had about 400 students with most students knowing each other made us all feel like family. Walking into a building with 14 floors filled with thousands of students can be very overwhelming.
As I transition out of my highs school mode and into college mode I hope to be more open and excited to meet new and interesting people that I have never had a chance to encounter through out my high school years.
The David Vainer experience
this a picture of New york city. as unoriginal as this picture is i think it is important for everyone to know where they are and where they are from. I’m also sure that everyone in the world thinks that their city is “the greatest city in the world” but there truly is no place like new york city. It is without a doubt THE greatest city in the world.
This is a picture of a man swimming. it is essential in my life because for as long as i can remember swimming has been a monumental part of my life. i started swimming when i was 7 and started competing when i was 12. My favorite strokes are the Butterfly and the breaststroke. when i was around 14 and i started high school i easily made the school swim team and was captain within a year of being on the team.
this is a picture of a Torah, which is the holy scroll of judaism. the reason it is a big part of my life is because i have been going to jewish private school for over a decade. the school has instilled in me values, and lessons that can’t be learnt anywhere else in the world. even as i leave high school judaism will always be a big part of my life.
this is a picture of Israel. this is picture is probably the most crucial one to me and means the most. the state of israel is in the heart of every jew. jews have fought long and hard in order to receive own state and we now have one. with all the turmoil in the middle east right now i thought it was very important to post this.
now i would like to talk about the fun stuff that i like. poker is my favorite game to play with my friends. it is a high intense game that involves risk, critical thinking and math skills. the high adrenaline rush that i get during playing is what makes the game so great. the risk of losing and winning and going through the roller coaster ride of having everything and having nothing makes the game so great.
this is a picture of Louis CK. hie is by far one of my favorite comedians. his stands up are absolutely brilliant and genius. he is deffinitly one of my favorite people of all time. he arguably the best comedian out there right now.
This is a picture of a family. i thought that it was very important to mention that family is probably on everybody’s list but it is still very important to show. Everything that have ever accomplished and will accomplish in the future is because of my family. at the end of the day friends come and go but family is something that you are stuck with for life.
This is a picture of Ronald Reagan. in my eyes he one of the greatest presidents who ever lived. he stood for valor and hard work. he helped america through an economic ressecion and his humor and jokes were always appreciated by america and its citizens. he made the country into a better country than it was before hi and for that i respect him and place him at one of the best presidents this country has ever seen.
