Hi, my name is Christine and this is my first freshman seminar post so I’ll tell a little bit about me. I am an Asian American girl who loves many things some of which are in these pictures I have posted. I LOVE animals and if was up to me I would own a variety of pets but I cannot because of my allergies. So as far as my allergies are concerned I cannot have any animals that have fur and that is one terrible part of my life but I am learning to deal with this. This is why I own parakeets and I love my parakeets, my parakeets are named Blues Clues and Asia (from left to right). I also have a wonderful friend that I consequently met in high school and later found out that we went to the same elementary school. We met under weird conditions because I remembered talking to her first and I remembered saying “I know you from somewhere,” and from there on we became best friends (as seen in the black and white picture).  Then comes along my graduation day, the day that I end a  chapter in my book and start a new one, where I knew that I had to fend for myself in college and for the rest of my life. What I really love about the summer vacation is the fact that no matter what the family has gone through, the tough and rough times in that year, we always plan a family vacation where we go on vacation together to reconnect and have fun together. In that family vacation I can see my grandma and my mother enjoy themselves and have fun because they deserve it for all they have done for the family. These are only some of the few things that I love and I believe that I cannot live without because these picture show some of the things I treasure the most and what influenced me to become who I am today.

  1. It’s great to see that your family is important to you, and I hope that they, along with your best friend, support you through this new phase in your life. If you love to travel, you should consider studying abroad, and have your family visit you. It’s an amazing opportunity.
