Alright so hopefully everyone gets an idea of what I’m like and what my interests after this post. A lot of my best pictures are supposedly from prom, but I guess a lot of people’s are. Anyways, these photos represent some of the most cherished memories I have of high school, and the group of people I surrounded myself with throughout the 4 years. My name is Kinza Ali, and I was born and raised in East Meadow, NY (Long Island). In the first picture, it’s me and my all time best friend Amreen. We’ve known each other since we were three years old and have been the greatest friends since. This picture was taken during graduation day, and also the same day she was leaving for NYU. Thank god she’s one subway stop away, otherwise I don’t know what I would do without her. The next few pictures are from prom with the greatest friends that I made during my four years. The first one starting with Eli; he is literally one of the funniest people ever. I’m so glad I got to know him. He enlisted in the army, so I don’t get to speak to him that much anymore. The next one is Gabe; literally the coolest and nicest person ever. He’s so big on politics, and you can debate with him for hours. He really got me into debating (model congress). He’s currently representing Cornell, and doing big things. The next one (the picture with 3 people), is with me, Rheba, and Eli. Rheba goes to Binghamton, sigh. No, but she’s crazy smart and one of the greatest friends I had. All of my good friends clearly went separate ways, and I miss them all, hopefully we get to see each other soon. The next few pictures are from concerts that I’ve been to, starting with the heartthrob Justin Timberlake. Honestly, don’t get me started about Justin Timberlake because I just love him that much. I promise you I’m not that annoying obsessed fan girl, but I do like him a whole lot. Anyways, I saw him live in barclays center, brooklyn in november last year in his 20/20 experience tour. I got pretty good tickets, but still wish I was closer. I have so many favorite songs, but my all time favorites are definitely  SexyBack, Lovestoned, and My Love. The next concert I went to was Onerepublic, with the script & american authors. To be honest, I really just went for the script. I like onerepublic, but never wanted to see them live. I went with one of my close friends, Saher. We both love the same genre of music. Next is graduation, and it represents how happy bittersweet high school graduation is. Even though I’ll miss it and all the memories, it’s time to move on and look forward to what the future offers. And lastly, the picture of me and my older brother. We’re 7 years apart, but honestly have become closer than ever. He’s always looking out for me, and I appreciate everything he does.

  1. Hi Kinza,

I am a big fan of The Script as well. I went to their concert last summer at Jones beach. Danny is just amazing. I am really glad to hear that you had amazing friends in high school and I hope you will make new ones in Baruch.

    Best,
    Shanima

  2. All of your friends sound amazing, and it’s great that your best friend is so close by to you. Also, Justin Timberlake is just the best! I hope you make the most of Baruch, and enjoy your time here.

    -Jessica.
