These are all photos that were taken during my senior year. I feel they accurately describe who I am. The first photo is my most favorite. It is with my best friends (we’ve been the same group of best friends since elementary school) at graduation. A few month before we graduated, we said we wanted to take a picture and try to replicate it 30 years from now. These guys are practically my brothers (the guy in the blue button down is my actual brother); we’ve been through it all together. The second photo is of the same group of us, though some are missing, on a camping trip in upstate New York. We all shared a huge tent, which was fun but the best idea. One of my friends has a really loud snore. The third photo was taken on my birthday and perfectly describes me. I am a HUGE Knicks fan, and have been since a little kid. It turned out that on my birthday, the Knicks were have an autograph signing to launch their new jerseys. It was incredible! Carmelo Anthony wished me a happy birthday(which my friend managed to record)! In the fourth photo, it’s my close friends from the Academy of Finance and I at prom. I was an amazing night, and I was most happy that I was able to wear suspenders :). The fifth photo shows my friends from the Academy of Finance and I when we volunteered at an international bike race. The race ran from the city, up Bear mountain, and ended at this park in my town of Fort Lee, NJ. I was able to meet a lot of people from all different parts of the world. In the sixth photo, it’s my best friend Alex (who goes to Baruch with me) and I with our baby simulation project. This devil child left us sleep deprived. In the seventh photo, my Academy of Finance class and I posed for a photo after a dinner. We appropriately nicknamed ourselves “The Academy of Family” (yes, I know, it’s really corny). We are an unbelievably close group. I’ve had a lot of great memories with them. Last, but certainly not least, is a photo of my family and I at graduation. It was a very emotional day. It felt surreal. I remember, when the principle was giving his speech, images of my entire school career from kindergarten to senior years rushed through my head. The feeling I had was indescribable.

  1. Hi Zouhare,

Having your best friend in Baruch is definitely a plus. I happy to see that you were part of a very close connected group in high school, I hope the same can happen for you here in Baruch and with new people from various backgrounds.

    Best,
    Shanima

  2. Dear Zouhare,

I loved all these moments you shared with us from your senior year. I hope that when you talk about your freshman year of Baruch you look at it just as fondly. I also hope that your friendships stay strong, since it is important to always have great people you can rely on.

    Thank!
    Jessica.
