Post Three

college life

It is exactly show how my life really is. My first semester was not simple at all. I felt stress all the time. Each day is too short “for all the thoughts I want to think, all the walks I want to take, all the books I want to read, and all the friends I want to see.” Too many things should be cared about. The experience here, in both NYC and Baruch, is different than what I thought before. I became a different person since I have moved here. The life is not bad and I wonder how different it will be in four years.

Post Two

Who am I?

A dreamer who trembles in delight and terror as she considers what happiness and heartache the future may hold.

A daughter who is entering the last stage of the parent-child relationship-friend-ship with Mom and Dad.

A student who loves learning for learning’s sake, not just to pad a college transcript.

A connoisseur who celebrates the beauty and diversity of the snack food aisle in supermarkets.

An optimist who can not wait to seize her future and make her dreams of knowledge, writing and love come true.

A sleeper who escapes pressure and reality through a wonderful invention called the snooze button.

A worrier who compensates for general unluckiness through careful planning and anticipation.

A complete paradox who is one thing, then another , one extreme ,then the total opposite… a bundle of earnest contradictions.

Who am I?

I was born and grew up in Taipei. I arrived New York in August 4th, so I have been here for just  two months. The first three pictures show the life I have right now. The first one is  a picture of NYC, the city I am going to live in the following years. The second one shows what I ate in these days and the third one is my dorm. I took next picture in the middle night when I went out with my friends in Taipei. Next is the picture of Greece, where I have been to this summer. I have been to Japan, Korea, Indonesia and some other countries before. I love travel. The sixth picture is my roommate, also, she is my best friends here. I have a sister and  a brother, the next one is a photo of us. My family and friends means a lot of to me, I hope I can have more time to spent with them. I miss them so much. Just post the final picture to show the sentence I love ”Don’t be afraid to dream.”
