This basically summarizes what I did at my first semester in college, when I had a paper assignment due the next day. I would write my essay at the last minute and thinking that paper was great. Then the next morning when I read it again, the paper does not make any sense. In the end, I didn’t get the grade that I wanted. I learned that I should not do my paper on the last minute and I should go to the writing center for help.

Post Two

Life is like a seed trying to grow

Buried under the soil where it is not seen

Until it starts to bloom then you will know

That it’s no longer just a tiny bean.

Everyone will grow at a different time.

There is no right way to grow and to strive.

We may drift off the road but it’s the climb.

We should feel lucky that we are alive

For we had battled to reach for the sky

Through obstacles like snow and rain

To times when we once said I want to die

The hardships may give you sorrow and pain

But then who knows what tomorrow may bring

So just breathe, it might not be a bad thing.

I listen to music because it entertain, inspire, and relate to my life. Personally for me, music plays a huge role in my life. Music can change your mood. Whenever you are sad, you can listen to a happy song so you can feel better. In addition, you can relate to a song which can also make you feel better because there is someone out there that knows what you are going through. My playlist is a list of songs that not only represent who I am but also help motivate and empower me whenever I listen to them. Some of the artists such as Simple Plan, I had listened to them when I was younger. Their songs help me get through middle school because I could relate to them. Two of them are I’m Just a Kid and Perfect. They relate to me because as a kid, life seemed difficult and I was trying to fit in. Even now, I’m still learning, adjusting and finding my place in the world. The song, Perfect, is like a constant reminder that I shouldn’t be aiming for what other people think is perfect. These songs speak for who I am because I can personally relate to them. I had been in the same situations as some of the songs mentioned such as trying to aim for perfection. Other songs in my playlist are what I listen to help encourage myself and to step out of my comfort zone. The songs: Part of Me by Katy Perry, and Shake it Off by Taylor Swift encouraged me to not change who I am because of what other people say or what other people may think of me. The rest of the songs are what I listened to recently.
