My high school was a very difficult academic school and knowing that I survived four years there I knew I wouldn’t have a problem in college. Man was I wrong. My first few weeks in college were difficult. My commute is ridiculous, the school doesn’t have a major I’m interested in, and it is freezing cold out! I am doing a lot better now and am learning how to use my time towards my school work wisely.

Blog #2 Sarcasm?? Liam Monaghan
I love waking up at 6AM to commute to Baruch
I love getting on the A train for an hour or more to go to school
The A train is the nicest train in the New York City subway system
There is nothing better than the smell of urine and body odor in the morning
I love nothing more than being packed in this train like a can of sardines
I love when musicians play music and sing while I try to get some rest before a long day of classes and basketball practice
There’s nothing like being harassed by panhandlers begging for money
I love this commute so much, I’m even thinking about taking the A train on my days off
Wouldn’t you enjoy this commute as well? Am I a sarcastic person?
On a serious. Never take the A train.

Hello my name is Liam Monaghan and I’m 18 years old living in Rockaway Beach. The pictures I have posted are some things that are important to me. I have been playing basketball for 16 years. Basketball has given me the opportunity to travel the country and play against/meet many different talented individuals. I will always find a way to play basketball no matter how old I get. Family is very important to me because they are always there to support me and pick me up in tough times. Night life and going out with friends is important to me because it gives you the opportunity to meet new people and make stories to tell your grandkids when your older. Nothing beats a night out in Manhattan with the squad!!!
