Monologue blog post 2

I commute from a small town called Floral Park in Nassau County Long Island. I love my town but sometimes in order to get what you want you have to leave your comfort zone. It takes about 45 minutes to get to Baruch. I wake up around 8 AM. I eat breakfast and get ready for the train ride. Once I’m on the train I meet up with a friend who also goes to Baruch. When my train arrives at Penn I usually get breakfast.  Usually, a Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich on a toasted roll. I got to Calculus class which is at 10:20 AM followed by English then FRO on Wednesdays only. I love Baruch so far and I intend to major in Finance in the Zicklin School of Business.  Although my commute is a bit of a struggle both financially and physically I still find ways to find happiness such as listening to music through Spotify.
