Although I have had a lot of fun thru my time at Baruch, making new friends, living in the city, and experiencing a new adventure every day; college is still not all fun. It’s full of unexpected and brutal hits that we take and can’t avoid; such as pop quizzes, staying up all night memorizing twenty different works of art for a test only to be tested on five, having to deal with holds on our accounts while registering for classes, sociology tests with scantrons that don’t work, or train delays that make you late for a quiz. Sometimes it can feel like nothing is going your way and you just take one hit after another; but even at those times it’s important to remember that even after all the hits if you keep going and try your best to get back up things will always get better.
