Last Thursday I went to Baruch’s own homecoming party, and as you can see the food was great! Although they had a mountain of lettuce, and a microgram of delicious macaroni, the food was still very nice! Inside of the building, they separated people 21 and over from the younger students in two rooms so they could drink, but both rooms still played the same music, which was mostly country music and Iggy Azalea. They also had free pumpkins, to wring out the Halloween spirit. Outside of the party, they played Hocus Pocus, a horror comedy movie in the plaza; you can see it in the picture as I’m standing behind the screen. For drinks, they had coffee and hot chocolate machines right outside the party. Also on the outside was a delicious popcorn machine. The most amazing feature of the party however, was the line to get in. I had arrived about an hour after the party started, since it’s good manners to be fashionably late, and the line was around 300 miles long. Even though there were around 100 people in the line, the actual party room was kind of empty, and once you left the party for any reason, you had to stand in the line again to get in. The only reason I had left was because I didn’t want to be the first person in history to Milly Rock to country music.
