Final Focus Assesment
When it comes to assessments like this, I always find that I’m pretty diverse in my interests. I find that I’d be able to adjust and go into whatever field interests me given the right amount of resources. The focus assessment that I took in order to evaluate good options for my career showed me nothing short of my previous conclusions. When it comes to life, I don’t think being close-minded on one field can provide you with success.
After some hassle with finding my password and getting into the Starr website, I was finally able to complete the assessment for something that I had previous information on. I’m sure that I will continue to think about my future career choices!
TEAM Baruch Information Session
On the 18th, I came into school in order to find out more information on an organization that I’ve heard of many times, but haven’t learned much about. T.E.A.M. Baruch is a student leadership development program that affords students the opportunity to unearth and develop their leadership potential. There were many informative representatives that I learned a lot from, and they definitely kept me interested.

Classic Josh Face
I plan to apply to the program, because when I was in high school, I was involved in a lot of programs that helped out incoming freshman. I also love getting involved in events throughout the school, and I think that this organization would not be any different.
Making Many Memories, and Meeting My Magnificent MET Museum Masterpiece
I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art with my good friends Gabby and Anthony. I have gone plenty of times before, and it never fails to amaze me with its vast diversity of art throughout the ages. I enjoyed reflecting on pieces that caught my eye and reading about their history.
I was familiar with some of the European art, so I was able to provide insight on different paintings and portraits throughout exhibits. Most people don’t know that science and art are much more interconnected than one might think, and that through paintings and the different works of art on display, a lot of scientific information through history made itself present. I was also able to explain a lot of my findings to Gabby and Anthony. Hopefully I didn’t bore them too much.
In my Junior Year of high school, we were assigned a project having to do with the MET where we were assigned a European painting that we had to write a sonnet to. I found the painting that I was assigned, and I took a photo to send it to my teacher.
We were able to go on the roof and enjoy a beautiful view of New York.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit to the MET. It definitely won’t be my last time there.
