The feeling of being unwanted
That was what she felt.
The thought of being excluded
Was hard for her to dealt
She just wants to scream
To let everything go.
But her mind held her voice back
And she just sinks further below.
She daydreams of the day that she’ll be happy again
But that just seems like years to come.
She’s searching for that light at the end of the tunnel
But her determination has succumbed.
Then she met him,
The guy of her dreams.
It seems so unreal,
He boosted her self-esteem.
Her darkness turned to light,
Even she didn’t notice.
He knew what he got himself into,
So, he became devoted.
Her smile got wider and wider each day,
Her sadness slowly faded away.
He became her savior,
So, she got braver and greater.
She was indeed happy, but only for a while
As he suddenly got tired,
And decided it wasn’t worthwhile.
He backed away each and every day,
until he had enough space.
And when that final blow struck,
He left without a trace.
No explanations, no goodbyes,
She couldn’t understand why.
It left her heartbroken for several months,
She didn’t eat, she didn’t sleep.
All she could do was ask herself why.
Even she couldn’t do that, so she weeps and weeps.
She knew it was too good to be true,
For a guy to fall for a girl like her.
Now she’s back to her old ways,
When everything was just a blur.
She knew it was better this way,
Being alone and depressed
And no one has to care for her,
It is for the best.
