Chilling at The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Today on October,4,2017 I visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the purpose of academics and personal leisure. I saw some cool paintings and sculptures. For example, I saw a golden sarcophagus that was used to bury an Egyptian priest named Nedjemankh. This made me have the desire to go out in style sometime in the near future when I will longer be immortal. I also saw some bourgeois furniture displayed in rooms. Which I informally called the “boujee” rooms. There was also a fascinating fireplace mantle piece that had caught my eye. But upon reading the description,I found out that the mantle piece belonged to the late captain of industry from the industrial era named Cornelius Vanderbilt. Who used to run the railroad industry back in the day. So in my mind I was like : “I want that in my crib (house).”  This moment brought back good old memories of when I learned a lot of U.S history back in high school. In addition to that mantle piece I enjoyed the fact that I got to see a Jackson Pollack piece in person. Which in my opinion I must say that he is one of the most overrated artists of all time. All this dude did was splash paint on a canvas and die and make some cigar smoking bozos drop their checkbooks for his art. But nonetheless, I still respect the fact that he thought up of this idea to splatter paint before I did.  The final photo reveals some Faberge eggs. Which is no big deal. Only a few in the world. Well then if it don’t belong cracked on my frying pan like a iPhone screen then I can’t afford to even think about going past the layer of glass to lay a finger print on the damn thing. Trust me it was beautiful but I can’t imagine the idea that if you were king or tsar you would commission the best jeweler in the land to craft you an iced out egg. Now that’s where the concept of rich people and rappers getting icy jewelry originated from. Hats off for Faberge! He had them kings blinged-out with glaciers before global warming. That’s all of the eggs that I would want to put into one basket. Oh and before I forget if your’e reading this and your’e thinking : “Where are you in the photos ?”  Well then I don’t think that you really cared to look at my photos. Look at the mirror in the picture of one of the “boujee” rooms. Zoom in. Yep that’s ya boy. Enjoy the photos of the gallery below without even making a move.
