Unlike many others, I wasn’t able to take AP Calc in high school. When I entered Baruch, I was struggling with calculus a lot. It seemed to me that everyone else was already well known with the topic because of high school. I couldn’t keep up with the professors quick ways of jamming information into my brain all in one day. I heard about the SACC Tutoring Center and decided to give it a try. I went for a calculus tutor session that was similar to my class session. A “professor” taught individual topics to a group of people. I guess I had a better chance to understand calculus more. I think I’ll try to attend more sessions or maybe try a one on one session. Maybe the one on one session will be more helpful towards my academics. Sadly, I didn’t take a picture as proof.
