Academics

An academic workshop I have attended is  Arden Everywhere:The As You Like It Project, a play I had to watch for my theatre class. I love plays, and enjoy the direction directors take adaptations of plays. I certainly loved this adaptation because it brought the topic of refugees into the play. Although the beginning of the story was hard to understand at the beginning of the play without the playbill, as it progressed it became easier to catch onto. The Shakespearean language was not as hard to understand as anticipated, despite a few misunderstandings. It was a joyful experience, and was worth the time and money.
