Freshman Seminar Fall 17 LC04

MET

On November 20th, I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art after class to start working on the second midterm for our art history class. I’ve been to this museum plenty of times when I took AP Spanish and regular Spanish classes because my teacher wanted us to see certain paintings by Spanish artists. I definitely enjoy going to museums, but honestly I like the architecture more than the art itself. Anyways, the midterm for class was designed to be like a scavenger hunt, but the way she did it was a little random. Normally it would make sense to plan it all so that you go to one room and then the next one was near by. The way this one was set up, it was like going from one end of the museum to the next, then back to the other end. It’s definitely not hard to find your way around, especially with the map. I think it was just less time efficient than I would’ve preferred.
