Freshman Seminar Fall 17 LC04

LEXICON!!

The lexicon GIM was very entertaining and interesting. I was looking for a club that was both involved in school evens and was related to my major and Lexicon is exactly that. Being a part of  the finance department of Lexicon would be getting the best of both worlds. Lexicon also includes Marketing and Management departments which will help me  get acquainted with different aspects of the business world because it is the only student run business in the school.

The current members of lexicon seemed like very nice, relaxed, and focused people. I believe lexicon would be the perfect environment to help me grow and learn as a freshman in college. The president of the club just so happens to be my FRO teacher, so maybe he’ll teach me how to become the next president. But I have to be honest my favorite person at the meeting was the leader of the finance department he is craziest and most energetic person I’ve met so far in Baruch.

The overal mood of the meeting was very positive, they spoke of accepting all different types of personalities and having a strong community that works together to create the best yearbook ever. The leaders and the community of lexicon are going to be a great resource to help me grow as a college student and to learn about the business world. Lexicon is filled with smart and driven members that will motivate me to continue to do my best in college.

I’ve always been somewhat interested in photography but never had the chance to explore that interest. At lexicon the photography department allows amateurs to participate too, I may finally get a chance to explore my liking for photography. And finally I love the felling of accomplishing a great task, so the fact that the whole point of lexicon is to create and sell an amazing yearbook is just an added bonus.
